Adrianna Ascalon

After spending a childhood bouncing between the Philippines and Switzerland, Adrianna moved to Canada to pursue her degree in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where she graduated in 2021. During her studies, she was exposed to a variety of industries by way of her internships, where she worked at companies such as ecobee, Zoox, and Apple.

Before Synex, Adrianna worked on the future of optical links on satellites at Kepler Communications, where she designed high-complexity compute hardware for software defined radios and on-board computers

Off the clock, Adrianna enjoys working to perfect her ollie at the skatepark (in the summer), playing board/video games (in the winter), and attempting to cook dishes from around the world (year-round).
