Christina Riczu
Senior Electrical Engineer – Hardware EngineeringChristina is a passionate electrical engineer with a love of biomedical and embedded design. She earned her BEng in biomedical engineering from McMaster University. Christina then went on to earn her MASc in electrical engineering with a focus on a novel cell balancing circuit for extending electric vehicle range. Her career journey began at a medical start-up Epineuron, where she played a vital role in creating a temporary peripheral nerve stimulator to bring to clinical trial in Canada. Christina moved to Geotab Inc. to dabble in automotive electronics. She is now focused on the future of predictive healthcare and compact magnetic resonance at Synex Medical.
When she's not busy engineering the future, you'll find Christina enjoying long-distance runs, exploring the great outdoors through portaging or hiking adventures, baking delicious desserts, painting, or playing board games, Christina approaches life with the same zest and determination that she brings to her work.
