Olivia is a software engineer motivated by mission-driven organizations making a meaningful impact on society. She joins Synex following a chapter at the Broad Institute, where she served as the technical owner for its petabyte-scale genomics data repository. She is happiest when solving complex, cross-disciplinary problems as part of a trusting, user-oriented team. Technical areas of special interest include automated testing philosophy, performance analysis, and production incident response.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys playing Scottish traditional fiddle music with family and friends.
