Joel Adamson

After graduating with a mechanical engineering degree with a focus on mechatronics, Joel started working with fuel cells. Quickly realizing the benefits of learning to code he started developing analysis tools in python to help create faster and more robust methods of data analysis for his team. The success he found here led him to push further into his newfound software engineering career.

Using what he learned from his time in fuel cells, he later took a contract developing similar systems for other fuel cell companies. This opened up new areas of development in full stack engineering and cloud infrastructure. He took those skills to Semios, an agricultural technology company focusing on pest management for farms. He spent several years there working on systems for farmers to better manage pests, crop disease and water management.

Joel enjoys finding new technologies, solving new problems and working with data. He likes to apply this to both personal and professional projects.
