Megan always wanted to live in the city. When it came time to attend university, she knew she had to be in downtown Toronto! She attended Ryerson University (Toronto Metropolitan University now!) and earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology.

She's always been drawn to healthcare. Her mum, a registered nurse, would take her to the hospital to volunteer on weekends and that's where she began her career after graduating. Megan has many years of administrative experience most of which have been in healthcare. She has her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from York University - combining optimization and access to one's own healthcare is a passion of hers.

In her free time, Megan is an abstract artist and amateur baker. She's a foster dog parent and usually has a new furry friend making a stop with her before they go to their forever home!
